What Hamilton Island is for the novice is simply Hammo for the insiders. And there are plenty of insiders here because Hammo is not only the largest inhabited island of the Whitsunday Islands but also one of the most visited islands in Australia. The reason for this is not just the island's own airport but also the wide range of offerings for tourists.

For snorkeling and diving, Hook Island is truly a paradise. The coral beaches invite you to jump into the sea and explore this unique underwater nature. If exploring the underwater world on your own seems too risky, you will also find an underwater observatory on the island, which descends nine meters deep to observe the colorful activity of fish and corals live.

Airlie Beach is a small resort town located in the Whitsunday region between Cairns and Brisbane in Queensland, from where you can easily connect to Australia's paradise islands.
