As you can see, Greece has plenty of amazing beaches to offer. Where you find your dream beach is shown on this map.
1. Navagio in Zakynthos
The high white cliffs and turquoise water at Navagio Beach have likely graced numerous postcards, Instagram posts, and travel guide covers. Not without reason: The striking cliffs, rising up to 650 feet high, are truly breathtaking and guarantee perfect shots for your vacation photos.
Particularly due to the fascinating view, a visit to the cove is worthwhile. But there's much to see from below as well, as the wreck of an old smuggler's ship awaits you on the beach, which is why Navagio is also known as Smuggler's Cove. If you want to visit the cove, you can book a full-day boat tour and enjoy the dreamlike scenery.
Vacation Guru Tip: Naturally, the cove attracts many travelers-but during the off-season, early in the morning, or later in the evening, you have a good chance of a quieter visit.
Getting to Navagio Cove

Given that Tsambika Beach slopes gently for a long distance, it is especially inviting for families with children. At times, there is also an inflatable slide park that lights up children's eyes. Adults can enjoy a wide range of water sports such as jet skiing or parasailing. In the trendy beach bars and tavernas, you can recharge with typical Greek snacks. Those who prefer a quieter experience can retreat to the outer end of the long beach or plan their beach trips during less busy times. There is even a nude bathing area. A visit is definitely worth it!
