The white sandy beach is very popular in Rhodes and therefore quite lively. Nevertheless, it is very clean here, and the water is crystal clear. Given that Tsambika Beach slopes gently for a long distance, it is especially inviting for families with children. At times, there is also an inflatable slide park that lights up children's eyes. Adults can enjoy a wide range of water sports such as jet skiing or parasailing. In the trendy beach bars and tavernas, you can recharge with typical Greek snacks. If Tsambika is too big, you will surely enjoy the smaller Anthony Quinn Bay. The many rocks create beautiful turquoise, green, and blue tones in the clear water, perfect for snorkeling.

You can reach the bay by bus or car from Faliraki or also by excursion boat. On a hilltop, you will find a small restaurant serving snacks. Otherwise, the idyllic cove is hardly developed-really charming. For us, it definitely counts as one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece! Just note: in the high summer season, it can get very crowded. Therefore, it's worth arriving very early and then leaving by early afternoon.

Beach Paradise Milos

4. Kleftiko in Southwest Milos

From here, you can walk through shallow water over a large sandbank to the namesake peninsula Elafonissi. A path leads to a rocky area, where you also find a lighthouse and a small chapel. 13. Balos in Northwest Crete

If you are exploring the northwest part of the island, be sure to visit Balos Lagoon. Similar to Elafonissi, a wide sandbank and shallow waters connect Crete with the small island of Tigani. There is also a viewpoint with a great view over the turquoise lagoon. You can already see this view on the way from the parking lot to the beach, before you embark on a steep descent. Here, sturdy shoes and enough water for the return trip are advisable. The adventurous drive with the car over a gravel road is not without its challenges-but it is truly worth it. Alternatively, you can also reach the beach by boat from Kissamos. Caribbean views are guaranteed!

Diverse Beach Paradise Kos

The third largest island in the Dodecanese is Kos, which particularly attracts you with its gently sloping, untouched sandy beaches during scorching summer temperatures. Two of them definitely need to make the list of the most beautiful beaches in Greece.

14. Limnionas Beach on the Northwest Coast of Kos

A small but fine cove you should definitely remember is the Limnionas Beach in the northwest. This beach is rarely crowded even in high summer because it is relatively far from the more popular tourist spots on the island. For example, it takes you a little less than an hour from the island's capital, Kos Town, to get here. The water is very clear, shallow, and particularly calm, as almost the entire beach lies sheltered in a cove. Sunbeds cost around €7 here.

There is also a small taverna above the beach serving fresh fish and typical Greek cuisine. From the terrace of the restaurant, you have a wonderful view of the sea. The combination of tranquility, good food, and the turquoise sea makes the beach an absolute insider tip.

15. Agios Stefanos in Southwest Kos

Not too far away and closer to civilization and the town of Kampos lies the small but beautiful bathing beach of Agios Stefanos. Here, too, there's little wind, making the water very calm and inviting for snorkeling and swimming. You can easily reach a picturesque small island in front of the beach in the sea that hosts a pretty chapel. There's also plenty to explore along the shore: One of the best-preserved basilicas in Kos and ancient columns can be viewed for free. This way, sightseeing and a beach day can be easily combined. When snorkeling in the water, you should beware of sea urchins and wear water shoes for safety.

Voidokilia is the perfect proof that the mainland also has beautiful beaches to offer. The crescent-shaped bay is framed by picturesque dunes and impressive rocks. Due to its almost perfect semicircular shape with a narrower entrance to the open sea, the water temperature is pleasant-here even cold-sensitive bathers can paddle around extensively in the water.

Nature lovers will enjoy it here as well: Voidokilia is located far from the usual hustle and bustle, right in front of Gialova in southwestern Greece and is very natural.
