Restaurant Tips for Krk

The island's gastronomy has a lot to offer: In addition to numerous restaurants with local specialties, international cuisine is also well-represented. Throughout the island, you will find great places that not only serve excellent food but also provide a unique view of the water.

I recommend the charming Restaurant Konoba Nada in Vrbnik, where you can stop by after a long day at Potovošće beach. The menu mainly features Mediterranean dishes, national wines, and cheeses in various forms. Inside the restaurant, you'll find a rustic look with stone walls and distinctive wooden furniture, while the outdoor terrace offers a panoramic view of the water.

The Kanajt in the town of Punat is a restaurant associated with the hotel that offers a fabulous selection of local fish and meat dishes. I particularly recommend the octopus, as it is prepared under a special bell, known as Peka, making it particularly delicious. Generally, there are many good restaurants along the coast of the small towns on Krk, especially in Malinska and Baška. There, you have a wide selection of top-notch dining options and can afterward visit one of the cozy bars to unwind at the end of the day.
