February honeymoon in Europe
1 - Eastern Capitals: Prague, Warsaw, Riga, Bratislava, Budapest
Often underestimated cities, the capitals of Eastern Europe know how to give emotions! February, despite the Christmas period during which they offer their best, is still a good month to discover these places so fascinating and full of history. Moreover, this itinerary requires a low budget thanks to the low-cost connections with Italy and the average low cost of living compared to other European destinations.
Choosing which cities to visit is always difficult, but usually for a trip that lasts an average of 10 days, it is worth opting for the main capitals, spending two nights in each.
Be enchanted by Prague, take a tour with entrance and guide to Prague Castle and visit the city's must-sees, not forgetting to flood the days with good beer.
Then move on to Warsaw, lose yourself in its squares and museums; Riga, in Latvia, will surprise you with its colourful buildings, while in Bratislava you will visit the Staré Mesto district, the Old Town, and the splendid Bratislava Castle, on a panoramic hill.
Finally, Budapest will have you gawping at its royalty, with the imposing Parliament Building overlooking the beautiful Danube. Stroll around the historical centre, take a romantic cruise on the Danube, but above all, relax for a day at the Széchenyi Thermal Baths: in winter, with the cold and maybe even snow outside, soaking in these warm thermal waters is the best! A word of advice? Buy the 1-day priority pass, the queues in winter are endless!
Main cities and places: Prague, Warsaw, Riga, Bratislava, Budapest
Duration: 11 days/10 nights (2 nights in Prague, 2 nights in Warsaw, 2 nights in Riga, 2 nights in Bratislava, 2 nights in Budapest)

2 - Cruise the Norwegian Fjords
Another great way to spend your honeymoon is on a cruise, the best way to visit beautiful places while relaxing and having fun on board.
February does not leave a lot of choice among Europe's seaside destinations, but on the other hand it is the perfect month to visit the north, for example Norway and its thousand fjords spread over 100,915 kilometres of coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage natural attraction.
Each fjord and each country offers natural scenery with different characteristics with the possibility of spotting seals, eagles and whales, but most of all in February it will not be difficult to find yourself in front of the beautiful spectacle of the Northern Lights. There are many companies that operate this itinerary but not all of them give the possibility of disembarking and re-embarking during the route, stopping a few days ashore at one's leisure. Norway's Hurtigruten is the only ship to offer this interesting 6- to 12-day option, ideal for visiting the places you prefer and at your own pace, departing and returning to Bergen in the south or Kirkeness in the north and stopping at many well-known ports such as Alesund, Bodo and Tromso.

In Granada, on the other hand, the buildings become more elegant and exotic with the Moorish style. Book your visit to the Alhambra, places are limited and entry times must be booked in advance.
Seville is the city of flamenco and architecture with its mix of Gothic, Baroque and Moorish styles that can be appreciated in the Alcazar, Plaza de España, the Cathedral and the San Telmo Palace.
